make your 348 a better trials bike

Run .0019 thou. piston clearance on a new bore.

Mill head 25 thou.

Remount condenser to under the tank area.

Install case mounted chain tensioner.

Use 1980 swing arm or add length to stocker.

Use Dellorto 26 mm carb.

Sammy Miller shift lever. or 1980 lever.

Replace stock fork brace/fender mount with stronger unit.
(Optional): lower foot peg mounts one inch.

Lift up handlebars by mounting a pair of lower fork clamps underneath
the stock fork clamps and using longer allen bolts.

Cutaway mag cover for better access to chain, or use 80' mag cover.

Watch for cracks in frame around the top of the front down tubes. gusset if necessary.

You can safely mill 25 thou. off of the head for a little more power, this really helps if you ride at over 5,000 ft.
